What do you see in this tree?

While I was photographing this tree, a passerby had stop and was admiring the silhouette of the tree against the sky and clouds. She said it reminded her of an inkblot.  While processing this image I took a closer look;

I see  animal puppets on the ends of the branches.  what do you see?
