D327: Ready for Take Off

While sitting in my hard car,  I happen to look up at the roof of the local hardware store and saw these pigeons all facing the same direction. Every few minutes the ones in front would fly away and the others would move forward.  It was like watching tiny airplanes take off . I not a bird person so I don't know if this is normal behavior,  but I found it quite interesting.  Taken with my point and shoot.

D323: Capsized

Took a walk along the marina on my lunch hour when I saw this boat capsized.  I stopped and waited to see if anyone would come to the rescue of the two young boys that were aboard.  Several minutes later, two boats came out and circle nearby but did not offer any assistance.  I then realize that it was a training course in progress and the boat had intentionally capsized.  The exercise was to see if they the two boys could turn the boat right size up. They crawled on top and were having a hard time pulling the sail out of the water.  My lunch time was almost over and I still had a mile and half  walk back to work.  I snap a few shots and continue with my walk. I look back several times to where the boat was and notice that they were able  to turn the boat right size up.

D322: Best Pizza

Busy day at work. I went to lunch at 3pm. I went to my  favorite pizza place, Arimendi bakery. They make the best pizza in the bay area. Well at least in my opinion. They serve only one type of pizza a day. Today's pizza was:

Roasted Roma tomatoes,Red onions, Blue Cheese. Mozzerella cheese, parsley and lemon flavor olive oil. Ooooh so good. I had two slices. :)

D317: Smile

I woke up this morning and just knew it was going to be a sunshine day. Although it was terribly overcast, I knew Mr. Sun would be making an appearance by noon. I had an easy day at work and was able to leave by 1pm. Took a drive up highway 1 and had a nice lunch/dinner at Panera bread. They make the best Mediterranean sandwich on tomato bread. While driving home, I saw this balloon flying outside an auto shop. Perfect picture for how I felt today after a very long week. Have a great weekend everyone :)
