D89: Busy Bee

My nephew's favorite toy.  Busy  is also my favorite model when I want to practice portraits.  He's always happy and sits there quietly. :-)

D88: A Glass of Pomegrante

This idea  was inspire by my friend Cheryl.  She posted a picture of pomegranates in a glass.  I love pomegranates, but I 've never had the patience to peel one. I usually cut it in half and dig in.  Thanks Cheryl, it is so worth the wait.

My nephew's Christmas school project. That chocolate tree started melting so I had to stop a few times and put it in the freezer for a few minutes.

Images:  Just started reading Joe Mcnally's book "Hot shoes Diaries" so I viewed images on his website. I had the pleasure of attending his workshop this year.  He's a super nice guy and a great sense of humor.  The workshop was awesome.  He shared a lot of info on shooting with one light, using reflectors and strobes.

D66: Peppermint Patty and Frosty

Went on a photo shoot with my friend Cheryl and the Solano meetup group to Bodega  Bay.  I thought it was going to be cold and foggy when we got there but it was a beautiful sunny day.  Took lots of photos and hung out with some pretty cool people.  On the way back we stop and took pictures of her Cheryl's neighbor Christmas decorations.   There were so many different items;  peppermints, stars, nativity scene and a horse and carriage to name a few.  This was one of my favorites.
