Country Road take me Home

Another image from yesterday's road trip . My friend  Diane and I took the back roads home from Penn Valley.  The clouds were gorgeous.  We pull over to the side of the road to get this shot.  Although it looks deserted in this image, I had to wait a few minutes as cars were whizzing by in both directions.  I gave up trying to take a shot  in the center of the road.

D122: The Back Road

The weather was absolutely gorgeous today here in Norcal.  The sky was clear, the sun was shinning and not a rain cloud in sight.   I took a drive along one of the back roads in Solano county.  One song came to mind while driving; "It's a Beautiful Day" by Bono.     Indeed it was.

Manual:  Read page 121 and 122 "Direct printing from camera"

D26: Cloudscape

I went out again today hoping for a beautiful sunset. While waiting for sunset, I notice these beautiful cloud formations.  Ten minutes later the clouds turn a nice pink and orange color.  Perfect ending to a long day.    I title this one "The Mark of Zorro".

Manual: Read pages 90 and 91 'Manual Exposure".
