Sunset Limited

Although this is not the actual sunset limit train that runs between LA and New Orleans, I thought the name fits.

The Delta

 

I took this image during the heavy rain storm we had a several weeks ago.  I think it had stop raining for a half hour,  so I got out the car and took several images of the rising water in the delta.  This is one of my favorites.

Old Sac Town

Drove down to Sacramento to photograph the trains in old Sac town.  This is the first time I been there when the old trains were on out display.  Nice cloudy day.  Love it

Darioush Winery

Went on a photo outing to Napa to photograph the mustard fields. The mustard was just starting to bloom and wasn't quite as photographic. Stopped at the Darioush winery to photograph the beautiful columns. The first thing I noticed was the shadows on the columns and the dark angry sky. The shadows on the columns looked like men with their heads bowed. I thought the couple was a nice effect too.

I played around with this image. I was trying to figure out how to add more light on the label without having a reflection on the bottle.  Mmmm.... Suggestion anyone?
