D151: View from my window

I woke up around 4am this morning and  notice that the light in my room was much brighter than usually.  I turn towards the window and the moon was shining brightly through the blinds.  I grab my camera took several shots.  I got up and open the blinds a little more and took several more shots.  Went and got a glass a water (which was my reason for waking up) and went back to bed.

Today was simply beautiful.  Blue skies and white clouds everywhere and no rain in sight.  I took a walk along the Emeryville shoreline and took this image.  What a gorgeous day.

I passed this stone mural several times today and I just had to take a picture of it.   I can see so many things in this stone.  An eye,  a waterfall, a face. What do you see?

D142: What's with the eggs?

I always wonder what the Easter bunny and eggs have in common? When I was a kid, you went to see the Easter bunny and he gave you chocolate eggs, go figure.  I saw this chocolate bunny in my local supermarket.  It was the last one and it was a little beat up around the edges.  The expression on his face is what got my attention and those yellow eyes.   He's probably wondering where those eggs came from.

I attended the 20th anniversary of Photoshop event that was held at the Palace of Fine Arts.  Photoshop evangelist Julieanne Kost and NAPP President Scott Kelby were two of the guest speakers.  Good Event.

D140: Reflections 3

Took a stroll around the city today.  Another beautiful sunny day.  I saw this reflection of this building.  This is my fourth reflection image.  Mmm this might be another series. This one reminds me of a cruise ship coming into port.

D139: The heart of it

Spring is near and the flowers are blooming.   I decided to shoot some macros today.   Not sure what type of flower this is, but I like the bright yellow color.   I added a filter effect to the second image.   I think it gave the flower a cool look.

Took a drive to Napa to see if the Mustard fields were in bloom.  On my way back I saw this heart outside on of the wineries.  I thought this would be the perfect picture of the day.  Happy Valentines day.

 I work on this piece for several hours setting up diffuser and and gobos to remove the reflections from the watch band.  I eventually chose natural light, a piece of foam core and some gobos.

I notice the Silhouette of this tree while sitting in the parking of my local supermarket. The small plants hanging from the branches look like meatballs. I don't know the name of the plant.

I found this character sitting on my sister's shelf.  She bought this for my nephew whose nickname is "Smurf"  I can't recall how he got the nickname.

D125: Cycles, Bikes and Tracks

Took the  scenic route to Silicon Valley today.  I passed this sign along the way.  It was near a railroad crossing.  I think it means motorcycle drivers and cyclist watch for oncoming trains or don't stop on the train tracks.
