I went to Fitzgerald Marine Reserve with my friend Cheryl. It was low tide so there was a variety of marine life to photograph. Below is a picture a leather starfish.

I walked down to the lake during my lunch hour. Sat on the grass and just people watch and enjoyed the sun. There were several daisies scatter around the grass where I was siting. This group of three caught my attention.

I went up to Clear Lake with the local meet-up group to photograph tulips. There were at least 25,000 of them, all in full bloom. I had a great time. These were some of my favorites from the shoot I did a little experimenting. The images on the right and bottom was shot looking through a wine glass. The effect was pretty cool.

One office building's reflection in the mirror like windows of the other. ...also has the appearance of being behind a tall fence. Almost 3d effect. Thanks Cheryl for the catchy title and the description.

Took a trip to Napa today with my friend Cheryl and the local meetup group. We had a blast shooting the mustard fields and other scenery around Napa. This was one of my favorite images from the shoot. I will upload more images to my flickr page.

I was standing at the corner waiting for the light to change. I happen to look up and notice this window. This is a 20 story building. My guess is with the strong wind and heavy rain we've had the last two days, it pop open.
Manual: Read 38 to 45 "Storytelling Apertures"
Images: Read Scott Kelby blog today. The guest photographer was
Calvin Hollywood. I viewed more of his images on his
website. Interesting images.

This is a very interesting building. I really like the architectural design. I tried shooting it from different angles and found that this angle works best. I could probably do a better job if I had a tilt shift lens.
Manual: Read page 36 and 37 "Aperture and Depth of Field"
